Echo Live
Your videos, subtitled live on your PC.
Your subtitles.
Speech becomes subtitles, right on your PC.
Make it yours
Echo Live runs on your PC without an account, an API key or an open agent. Use your AI agent only if you want to adapt the software. Echo Live must stay running while you watch to show subtitles. Recognition and translation take a moment and can make mistakes; their speed depends on your PC, the language and the sound. Words already shown stay fixed. Several tabs playing sound in the same browser may mix, and some protected apps may not be captured. The microphone is not used, and no sound or text is saved. An NVIDIA graphics card is optional.
Getting StartedWatching a video in a language you don’t know? Launch Echo Live: live subtitles appear in English or French. Put the video in the foreground, and its sound is recognized and translated on your PC. You can move the banner, choose its size, or ask your AI agent to adapt the software.
No AI agent needed to watch with subtitles. Recognition and translation stay on your PC.

Download and extract the folder
Download the ZIP, choose “Extract all” and put the Sous-titres-locaux folder where you want to keep it, because it must not move afterwards.
Install the software
Open INSTALLER.cmd, click Install and wait for the download to finish. Check the NVIDIA option only if you have an NVIDIA graphics card: it speeds up the subtitles but downloads about 1.3 GB more.
Watch with subtitles
Open the software, choose English or Français, then click Start. Put your video in the foreground and speech in another language appears as subtitles. The CC icon near the clock turns them on or off.
Prefer to let your AI agent do it? Complete step 1, select the unzipped folder as the project folder in your agent, then simply ask: Set up Echo Live for me.
Try asking your agent
“Make the subtitles larger by default.”
“Change the colors of the subtitle banner.”
“Show three lines of subtitles instead of two.”
