Video Editor AI

Let AI edit your videos.

Illustration of AI-assisted video editing.

Make it yours

Your AI agent operates your video editor through an MCP connector or by controlling its interface. Editing capabilities depend on your chosen software and its connection mode.

Getting Started

Give your footage to your AI agent and describe the edit you have in mind. Video Editor AI prepares your environment to work with your preferred video editor.

Your AI agent must remain active while editing.

Getting started

  1. Prepare the requirements

Two ways to edit with AI

Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve Studio

MCP connectors are planned so your agent can operate these editors directly. With the connector installed and active, it will be able to edit in the background while you do other things on your PC.

    Other video editors

Your agent will need to control the interface to edit. During these actions, leave the keyboard and mouse to the agent: you will not be able to use your computer at the same time.

You need an AI agent, Claude or ChatGPT, and your preferred video editor.

  2. Open the folder in your agent

Download and unzip the software folder. Create a project in your AI agent and select the extracted folder as the project folder.

  3. Set up Video Editor AI

Your agent installs what’s needed on your computer; allow 10 minutes or more. In your project’s first conversation, paste this request and replace [software] with the name of your video editor:

“Set up the Video Editor folder so it can edit videos on its own in [software].”

  4. Describe your edit

Open another conversation in the same project. Add your footage and tell your agent what kind of edit you want.

Try asking your agent

“Turn this footage into a short, dynamic video.”

“Add readable subtitles to my video.”

“Create a gentler edit with these shots.”
